Women’s footwear is especially trendy and come in various designs and colors. The shapes are unique and various makes specialize in different types of sandals and other footwear. Men’s footwear, too, are no less trendy and come in various shapes and sizes; though the number of colors in which they are available is restricted. Children’s footwear is also easily available. These shoes are known for their bright colors and comfort.

A rather late addition to this generalized list is designer footwear. These are exclusive items made by designers who sell these for a premium price. But these have a separate thriving market and people swoon over such footwear. These specialized items often come with rare specifications and expensive ingredients.

Shoes are generally made of leather. But of late, other materials like rexine, swed, plastic, foam and synthetic leather are being used to make shoes. These have also become pretty popular among customers who are particularly concerned about killing of animals for leather.
